VINCI Airports is strengthening transatlantic connectivity with the launch of a new direct route between Monterrey International Airport, part of its network, and Paris. Operated by Aeroméxico, the service will start on April 13, 2026, improving long-haul connectivity between northern Mexico and Europe.

The new Monterrey-Paris route will operate three times a week using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, offering direct access to the French capital for both leisure and business travellers and supporting tourism, economic exchanges and international mobility.

This new service reinforces Monterrey International Airport’s position as the leading air hub in northern Mexico and reflects VINCI Airports’ strategy to support the development of long-haul routes that enhance the international reach of the airports in its network.

Nuevo León’s Secretary of Tourism, Maricarmen Martínez Villarreal, highlighted the importance of air connectivity for tourism growth and international positioning, noting that “air connectivity plays a key role in tourism development, as it facilitates exchange between destinations and strengthens Nuevo León’s global presence.”

“The new direct Monterrey–Paris route reinforces Monterrey International Airport’s role as the main air hub in northern Mexico. This connection expands international connectivity and positions Nuevo León as a strategic gateway for tourism, business, and investment between Europe and Mexico,” said Ricardo Dueñas, CEO of OMA Aeropuertos.

The route announcement was presented in Paris to European media and tourism stakeholders, in coordination with the Mexican Embassy in France, as part of efforts to promote Monterrey Airport’s growing international connectivity.
